Mondrianum 2.0 beta 2

Filed under: Mondrianum — lukhnos @ 2:12 am

Shortly after we have released Mondrianum 2.0 beta 1, we are now releasing Mondrianum 2.0 beta 2.

2.0 beta 2 is mainly a bug fix–a major one. When we were building 2.0 beta 1, we forgot–such was a quite unforgivable oversight–to make Mondrianum.colorPicker a universal binary. Which means PowerPC users would not be able to use Mondrianum. This is now fixed. 2.0 beta 2 should run fine on both PowerPC and Intel Macs. This version will expire on November 30, 2008.

We apologize for the inconveniences caused, and thanks for letting us know!

Mondrianum 2.0 beta 1

Filed under: Mondrianum — lukhnos @ 2:31 am

We have released Mondrianum 2.0 beta 1 today. We have rewritten the plug-in from ground up so it now works with both OS X 10.4 and OS X 10.5. The rewrite also allows us more space for future enhancements.

One important reason we are having this major overhaul is to catch up with the public API changes in kuler. Adobe now has a developer site that offers information for people interested in making use of kuler color themes. One simply needs to apply for an API key to be able to retrieve the community-generated data.

Please note that Mondrianum 1.0.7 will expire on the midnight of October 15 (in your time zone). And please also note that Mondrianum 2.0b1 is a free beta and will expire on the midnight of November 30, 2008 (again, in your time zone).

We hope Mondrianum 2 will continue to be a useful color picker utility that integrates the best of kuler and your Mac OS X creative applications!

Thanks for the wait!
